It is no doubt a beautiful cup. Feels good in the hand and very smooth. I was initially disappointed though because the cup I received was more of a golden color and not as bright or yellow as described and shown in pictures. Still a lovely cup that is masterfully made. It isn't a big enough issue to return and the color grew on me. all the black outlining and details are the same. Once I got over the initial shock of the darker color then it grew on me.
