Jianzhan, also known as Tenmoku pottery, originated in the Song Dynasty and was used as a tea bowl (chawan).
It is known as Jianzhan in China and Tenmoku pottery in Japan.

1.When you receive your Jianzhan,please boil it in boiling water for a few minutes. It has the functions of disinfection and warming.
2.When pour tea in cup,since tea temperature is too high to taste,it is better to shake the tea soup first to make it soak into whole cup,in this way,not only can help Jianzhan grow a uniform color, but also can appreciate the magical changes of markings .
3. After finish your tea,blanch it with boiling water,clean it properly. Place in a ventilated and easy-to-dry place or wipe clean with a soft tea cloth,never use fine sand cloth, sandpaper, polishing cloth which will damage Jianzhan surface and make it loose luster and scratches.
