The ore is from Jianyang city, which is the original place of Jianzhan ware. It is rich in iron ions, which is special to compare with other place and best to make Jianzhan. The glaze is natural as well.
It is mainly related to the difference of porcelain minerals and glaze. The glaze is mineral glaze, which is rich of iron ion. Different glaze composition make different pattern. In addition, the temperature and humidity as well as Jianzhan position in the kiln, and other uncontrollable factors will also affect the color formation. So the pattern of each Jianzhan is unique.
There are oil-dripping calendula/butterfly calendula/four-god calendula/partridge spot/tea foam/persimmon red/black gold/rabbit hair/rust spot,etc.
Collect porcelain ore→crush→elutriation→mixed ingredients→mud storage→clay preparation→kneading→embryo pulling→embryo repair→burning→glazing→put into kiln→roasting(Temperature in the kiln can reach 1350 centigrade)→kiln transmutation(at high temperature, iron ions react chemically, flow on the glaze surface to form unique and beautiful patterns).Every Jianzhan is unique because contingency of kiln transmutation process.
